Understanding the attitudes to research and research priorities of clinical staff working with people with severe mental illness
The study is exploring the views and experience of clinical staff in a London Mental Health Trust of being involved in research, how they use research and their research priorities using using an online survey and semi-structured interviews. Understanding the attitudes of clinical staff to research, their needs regarding research utilisation, and how they want to be involved will help researchers better understand how to work with them in and will increase the likelihood for better implementation of research into clinical practice.
